The Dizzy Daisy is my favorite of these three that you propose. You have many beautiful designs and very well explained.

  • Love the spiders!

Those are some great quilting patterns. Thanks for setting up that posting even though you are away from home and working. Hope you are enjoying your stay at the Campbell Folk School. I live in the middle of NC and still have not been there. My husband is not interested in going so I may have to go on my own. It’s suppose to be a wonderful experience.

  • All great tutorials. Thanks for the reminder of your wonderful spooky spider tutorial. I’m finishing FMQ of a Halloween quilt and this FMQ motif compliments what I’ve already done and will help me finish it off this week. Yeah

Oh, I wish I could be at JCCFS with you this week . . . sigh. I really like the Dizzy Daisy – in fact it will be one I plan to use on one of five scrappy placemats I’m working on (haven’t chosen the other 4 but I’m GOING to get all 5 quilted this week). Thanks for sharing so much with all of us.

The Dizzy Daisy is amazing, but it remains a little difficult. For the time being my favorite ones are The Grip pop and the Straight line triangles. I hope that you will go one sharing your wonderful tutorials so helpful.
How lucky they are at the John C. Campbell Folk Schook to have you today !
    Best wishes from Marie

They’re all lovely, and useful in their own way … but, oooohhh that spider … so silky and spookily scary all of a once. Marvellous. I’ll have to find him a home. He’s so much nicer than the long-legged, tiny-bodied denizens of our garage, and storage room. They give me pause. Yours give me a smile ?

My all-time favorite is Claire’s Peony! It fills big spaces as well as small–excellent choice for most quilting projects. Don’t get me wrong, the 3 top favorites are excellent as well. I’ve used them myself. Lori, your tutorials are fantastic please keep them coming! Any word on your upcoming book–any updates on publishing time? Can you reserve a copy early?

  • Thanks, Lori. I will definitely use these on the next couple of quilts I have planned. I am working on one right now and I was getting to a place where I needed to quilt something else on it that was a bit different from the rest of the quilting. Also, I will have a Halloween quilt ready to quilt soon and those spiders will be perfect!
