Good Morning, Quilters!
In keeping with our Star theme this month, I found this AMAZING video of Garip Ay-A Turkish artist, recreating Van Gogh’s Starry Night in one of the oldest Turkish traditions of painting on water.
I hope YOU will be inspired to keep doodling Stars HERE
And quilting Shining Stars HERE
Hope YOUR day is filled with Creativity, Sweet Sunshine and Starry Nights!
Happy Quilting,
Lori

Thank you so much, Lori! That was one of the most fascinating things I’ve ever seen. I know it’s going to make the rounds of many social networks now. It has to be shared.

Eeeeeeooooooowwwwwww!!!!!!! That is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. I’m 65. That’s saying something! I’ve painted in watercolours, and in acrylics. Neither are simple to learn. This is … I don’t know how to continue … I’m so moved. Mille grazie for sharing this incredible video. I need to investigate this more. Considering the turmoil in his country … to be able to create this art, first in his head, and then in his hands ….. on water ….. no other word will do … amazing!
