    Great photo. It would be nice if you dated your photos. The “bump” on the pelican’s beak indicates that this was taken during breeding season. I always wonder when and where the photos were taken. Pelicans are now becoming common in WI. always enjoy Silent Sundays.

  • One day at Point Reyes Nat’l Seashore we watched as dozens of pelicans dove for fish in one of the coves at the Western edge of our dear continent. Thanks for the reminder of that glorious site.

  • Your Silent Sunday is one of my favorite posts. I save them all. Such a nice way to spend a bit of time, usually several times before i move it to my folder. When I need some “silent” time, I often go to my folder and randomly select a post to see again. Thank you
