Takes me back to England where I used to go for walks with my Grandma. Such wonderful memories . Like your first responder I too live in Australia, fortunately much further south where there are 4 seasons, but spring and autumn seem to pass far to quickly.Thank-you for such a beautiful and evocative scene.

Reminds me of a lake I used to walk around when I lived in Eden Prairie, MN
Here in FL I miss Autumn colors a lot. Thanks for sharing, Lori.

HAha.. little tree in middle imitating Big Daddy on right side.! My mominlaw loved the deep and bright colors of Autumn leaves ! I enjoyed them with her in Wisconsin, However, I really love the subtle colors of the small leaves. They seem to be subtle but when you look at one of them up close and personal, their color can be just as brilliant as a large leaf. Thank you for the lovely scene today.. Peace in one corner of our world. Keep your camera stocked with batteries ( not film anymore 🙁 I realize). More colors coing and then the snow scenes or snow
    sneenes as we sometimes joke.

Beautiful. You have an eye for composition!

  • Autumn is my favorite season. Colorful yet quiet. A time for reflection and extra doses of gratitude.

I can almost smell the fresh fall air and feel the coolness on my face. Thanks for the tiny trip to another place. Have a great Sunday.

Autumn (Fall) is the season I miss the most. Living in central Queensland we really only have two seasons… Spring which is theoretically winter and a long hot summer. This year thankfully it appears to be a wet season summer. The autumnal colours are amazing.
