Are we allowed to keep posting right on? We had bees in our wall last year. Beekeepers came and rescued the bees in large buckets. They wore their white suits and head gear to do it… excited the neighborhood to see them in our yard at their truck ! Well, they also cleaned out as much honeycomb as possible, gave us some and taught me how to get the honey out for food. Later one beekeeper wife texted me how to make the comb into usable beeswax. I have enough wax for the rest of my sewing life and shared some with granddaughter. The bees came through the mortar between bricks and built a 6 ft by 10 ft home inbetween the studs of the wall. It was incredible! I was sitting there sewing one day when bees, one by one over day or so, flew out by me through the outlet in the wall. I called the beekeepers in a magazine article I had read the week before. Talk about coincidence !!

I look forward to your emails but especially on Sunday, as it is strictly pleasure and beauty. Thank you. In regards to the “other” emails, there is always something I learn. You are a gift to us.

  • My first thought when I saw this was, when I was a little girl playing in the yard in my little ‘sun suits” little summer jumpers that my mom called them.
