Magnificent! Such wonderful color, and light and shadow of the eagle’s feathers against the beautiful blue sky; incredible detail. Quite the photo, Lori.
On an early season paddleboat ride we heard a young eagle calling and calling. It had fledged, and was in the tree, but couldn’t figure out how to get back in the nest. We always enjoyed our St. Croix cruises.
Now we have a summer place on Lake Huron, and there is a nesting pair of eagles down the road. We often see them and their offspring fishing. Great (photo) catch, Lori!
Wow! Amazing picture. Our world is filled with so many beautiful creatures, large and small. Looks like fish is on the menu.. Mmmmm my favorite, although l prefer mine cooked.

Breathtaking! Incredible shot! Love seeing eagles now in Wisconsin and Minnesota; they’ve multiplied and are definitely back. One success story.
