You can call the robin the first sign of Spring, but I have been watching the American Goldfinch change back to his beautiful courting feathers!! Every day he is a little lighter, to day markedly yellow!! Spring is really here now!!
Exquisite photo; I love how you caught the robin in the branches with the colorful leftover berries.
We’re having a lovely bright and sunny spring day here in eastern PA. The temp is in the low 60’s but the wind is cold and fierce!. I just took the dog for a walk and needed my puffy jacket as protection from the wind gusts. Then when the wind would settle for a minute, the sun made me too hot. (I can’t win.) Oh well, pretty soon I won’t need the jacket at all and will be sweating my butt off. Summer always makes me appreciate autumn.
The waxwings come in March every year and peck the pods from the Green Ash tree in my backyard. Such beautiful birds but the pods are gone and so are the waxwings.
Love the pic. Spring is a great season to enjoy. Just as Christ arose and gives new life to all who believe He is God thru the Son Jesus Christ. We are blessed thru the season of Spring to witness new life as flowers and trees burst forth anew. God’s blessing to you, Lori and to all who read this post.
Oh no not more snow!! But like you stated another day to quilt. I am here in FL with the bright sun coming thru my windows, waiting on my coffee to brew. Have a great God’s day from FL. Marge
Love the Robins, have been seeing a lot of them for weeks. Got up this morning to a blanket of snow. Although it looks beautiful, l am so done with winter. On the bright side ,l will have another day of quilting.😊

Thanks, Marge Yarnell, for reminding everyone what the REAL reason for rejoicing in the spring is, Jesus is ALIVE!

Don’t see Robins in Florida. I loved watching them when I lived in Ohio. Thanks for the picture.
