Good Morning, Quilters!

While Sundays are normally silent… I just wanted to pop in to let you know that The Inbox Jaunt was hacked late last week. I have been working with the host and a web security company to restore all of the files and remove the stolen link.

I believe the problem has been corrected, though you may notice it takes longer for images to load.  Thank you for your patience!

I’d rather be quilting!

  • I’m so sorry about your site being hacked! It was crazy being sent to an oriental site!

  • Denise S

Is that what happened. I kept getting sent to an oriental site. Very weird. What a pain some people are.

So sorry to hear you got hacked. I really, really enjoy your blog and have learned so much from you. I believe using your book and studying your tutorials has enabled me to get to a more skilled level of free motion quilting and I love it. Thank you so much!!!

Who do people have to leave bad behind and not good.? It’s so much easier to be good and spread good cheer, which is just what your pot of cyclamens is doing. I wish you good cheer, happiness and pots full of beautiful blooms. Thank you for getting back on the air waves so soon.

  • So glad you’re back Lori! That was not cool.

  • Larain

I am so sorry to hear that. Hope their needles are blunt and their cotton knotty.

I have tried to leave a comment, but it just vanishes!

How awful! Loved the photo. I have some in my garden but, today they are under about 6 – 8 inches of snow, in Hereford, UK!

  • Ann Rapice

Bummer. I hate when bad life stuff gets in the way of quilting.

  • Suzanne .

Sorry you had to deal with that. For your sake I hope it doesn’t happy again.
Why can’t people simply live and let live? I’ll never understand.

    • Suzanne .

“Happy again”……???&^&#??!!?!?!!!!!! I am SO Sorry! I meant HAPPEN again.

Aw crap! What a nightmare. Sending you quilty hugs.

Glad you are back. Sorry for the troubles. Sad people out there. Love that you are here sharing your wonderful talents with us.

Bummer, regarding your website. Love your “Silent” Weekends, such a breath of fresh air.

Dear Lori, glad to know. I opened a page earlier this week and it was in a foreign language. I love your posts. Thank you so much for persevering.

  • So sorry your wonderful blog was hacked. May those people find pins and needles in their bed and on their floor as they walk such a sad path in life. I hope everything gets sorted out soon and this mess is all behind you. I love your wonderful blog.

I believe the flowers are Cyclomen (sp?). Mine are just now growing their leaves again after being dormant mostly all winter. I hope the blooms will pop up soon ! So lovely here on our Jaunt. Lori, the Photographer does it again! Soothing on a cloudy morn with storms predicted.

    • Thanks for identifying the lovely flowers. Does anyone else wonder each week? Although I love to look, I know very little about flowers. These are beautiful.

      • cyndy

These are cyclamen and they come in a variety of colors and white. I love them, too, though I’ve had little luck with them living more than couple months in my hands 🙁

I was so happy to see your post yesterday and actually be directed to the right site! I can’t imagine how upsetting getting hacked would be – there are some terrible people out there!

  • I am so sorry to hear this. What is the impact to your subscribers?

  • I am sorry to read about the hack. If only these folks could use their talents for good vs bad. Hope you can get back to sewing soon.

  • Donna Belisle

So pathetic that there are always those who can’t find a life for self. Thanks for letting us know and love those flowers and if you can, please tell us what the name of that plant is. Thanks, Donna

  • Oh My! What is wrong with people!!! Anything to try to steal information, identity, access your sales or just annoy everyone. I can’t believe there is so much energy spent by all the GOOD people to try to recover from malicious evil. Hoping you have things tightened up and secure, and you can get busy and quilt on!

  • Helen S.

I am delighted to see the beautiful flowers this morning! So thankful that your site has been repaired!

  • shoshana

i’m so sorry, not a good feeling to know that someone invaded your space that you so kindly share with us, hope it doesn’t’ happen again. shoshana
