Old bookstores are rare now; finding one is a treasure. I also try to find independent book stores because they really have to rely on a good customer base. When I walk into a local independent bookstore & have the owner say, “I’ve found a book by so & so that you might like, take it & browse through it.”
I don’t get that kind of “Care at Barnes & Noble!” They know you & love to have time to visit as I do.

Love book stores. Two in our area have shut down and so sad to see them go.

The wise ol’ owl says that books are still the best, “who” wants to read from a cold, lifeless electronic device!
