Reminds me of my Grandmother’s former backyard. On one side the cool and quiet and on the other side,Grandpa’s raspberry patch in the sun and raspberries were wonderful!
I love learning about new artists and their work. A great break on weekends. I so enjoy what I am learning from you, with your blog, books, and bluprint two classes. You inspire me to strive to recreate what you teach us and bring some fun to the process. I don’t comment a lot but I always read everything you send out. My sincere thanks.
I can;t resist being a smart alec today. I suppose if you wanted to sit comfortably, you had to carry your own (wicker?) chair to the pergola! Oh, what was it like to live in an age of lovely white dresses with high necks and longer sleeves and sit in the shade to stay cooler, with hair up in a bun. I can’t imagine them in tank tops and shorts. Even with pointillism, he does a lovely job handling fabric..one of my favorite details to watch for.
Love this painting, Lori!
I’m so excited by an email I got yesterday! Your new book is on it’s way!
Congratulations, and thank you for all your hard work for us. So appreciated.

Though I don’t often comment, I really enjoy Fine Art Saturday and also your Sunday posts. Thanks for taking the time to do them!
