I have both a fridge magnet and card of this painting. I went to an exhibition of her work some years ago at the Art Gallery of NSW. The light and colours in her paintings are glorious.
Just watched your Craftsy class for the 2nd time. I’m sure it will not be my last. You covered so many techniques that one really gets their money’s worth. I look forward to the time to use and perfect these motifs. I appreciate you taking the time to explain them so well and sharing as always. You are such an inspiration to everyone who is interested in free motion. I just did a huge big block square quilt where I just did straight lines and want to get it done so I can move on to some actual free motion. THANK YOU!
I love how the background (looks like walls meeting an attic ceiling) looks patchwork – like. Not strictly a seamstress (she’s knitting!) but the image still incorporates
motifs that make one think of fabric. Thank you for my weekend art appreciation 🙂

I look forward to Saturday’s seamstress in fine art. Have not noticed many from the USA.

I look forward to this post every week. Which new-to-me artists will I find? Thanks so much!
