    I love this! Lydia reminds me of my mother. She resembles her in her posture at the machine, and in her hairstyle. Oh, and the apron, too. Mom worked outside the home as well as running a household. She was an amazing woman.

    That looks like a 1950’S blouse to me ! Imagine choosing her at work for the subject of your painting…I like the blue spool of thread showing up!!

    A very neat and “clean” modern painting. Can’t tell for sure, but think it needs a “Singer” in gold on that machine.
