Or maybe it’s a baby sweater, part of a layette … good grief, I’m dating myself. I don’t think anyone even knows what a layette IS anymore ????. At least she’s sitting in a comfortable chair, wearing a proper sun bonnet, and enjoying the outdoors, unlike the poor European woman we’ve seen in paintings who are knitting in the woods or in an open fields where they could be swallowed up by a bear, LOL. It’s early on the coast … I think I need coffee.

Knitting baby booties for her expected arrival.
Should be piecing a quilt for that little one. My perspective.
