Good Morning, Quilters!
I’m back at my desk (and my sewing machine) after two wonderful weeks with Baby Louis–my new grandson! So grateful to my daughter, Claire and her husband, Andy for sharing this time with me!
When I arrived at home…a box of books!!!
Four of my doodle designs were chosen for 180 Doodle Quilting Designs by Karen Burns (Martingale)
BTW-Martingale is publishing my book of designs (in Tuesday Tutorial style with step-by-step photos) Spring, 2017!
The book (printed on my favorite glossy book paper) contains designs by nine quilters including Karen Burns, Angela Walters, Christa Watson and YOU-Know-Who!!
Each design is offered in three formats: for a square block, a triangle block and for a border. I just know you’re going to LOVE this book!

IN OTHER BOOK NEWS….
My book is in the works–all the tutorials are stitched (I had to re-stitch every tutorial so they’d be color-coordinated.)
I’ve been working with the editors to get all the copy and captions written and next week they start taking the real photos and doing layout!!
It’s SO COOL to be published!
I’m off to the post office….mailing copies to my Mom and Sisters….
Then to my sewing machine…I can’t wait to test drive the motifs in 180 Doodle Quilting Designs!
