Good Morning, Quilters and Doodlers!
Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to present a workshop and lecture to The Prairie Piecemakers of New Ulm, Minnesota. What a talented and fun group of ladies!
As you can see, we had a lot of fun…
But we also got a lot of work done.
It was great to see the different interpretations of The Spring Sampler with a variety of fabrics and threads.
The Prairie Piecemakers are a very busy guild with challenges, charity quilts, group projects and a BIG show every two years. Their “Show and Tell” quilts were truly amazing-a wide variety of piecing and appliqué.
I left New Ulm inspired. I hope the ladies of New Ulm will be doing more free motion quilting…
I know I’ll be doing more piecing and appliqué!
Thank you, New Ulm! It was a lot of fun!
