My Camera Bag

September 20, 2012

I have had several inquiries about my camera bag…

Camera:   Digital SLR:  Canon Rebel EOS/1000D

Lenses:   Canon 50mm F/1.4–Love this lens!  Great for indoors and in low light.  My only prime lens.

Canon EF 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 IS USM- I use this a lot for little league sports.  Although this lens is limited by the high F/stop, it is one of my favorites.

Tamron SP AF 60mm F/2 Macro-Love this for flower photography and close-ups.

Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 aspherical lens–Wide angle, zoom. I often take this lens on photo jaunts because of its wide range of options.

I have two camera bags:

Lowepro Passport Sling Bag–This is my go to bag.  It is very versatile and doesn’t look too much like a camera bag.  It is comfortable even when hiking.

Lowepro Toplander Pro 55-I chose this bag whenever I use my telephoto lens.  It is very easy to move the camera into and out of this bag.

My software:

Aperture-for organizing my files and basic editing

Photoshop Elements-I use this for more advanced editing.

RadLab-I looove this software!  It is extremely intuitive to use.  It employs stylets that are fun to try.
I’d love to hear what’s in your bag... What is your favorite lens?  Do you have any software you couldn’t live without???
