I’m going to say in between beginner and intermediate for FMQ, and a beginner for machine applique…I’m working on a Dear Jane quilt that I started this week to try to change some of that! Thanks for the giveaway and the motivation, I’ve been afraid to use sulky because my old machine did not like it, but I haven’t tried it with the machine I got for my birthday this month!

Definitely a beginner at free motion quilting. For machine appliqué, I’ve only done two such projects, but I’m definitely more skilled at that than I am at free motion quilting… so, I’d say I’m intermediate based on how the finished product looked, but I am painfully slow in order to get that result.
