Good Morning, Quilters!
We haven’t had a Tuesday Tutorial in awhile!
Eek!
There’s a mouse in the house!
How to Machine Quilt a Mouse Motif
Begin by stitching a straight line from left to right. Add a curved line that ends in a taper.
Backtrack five or six stitches.
Add a double loop ear.
Add another double loop ear on the inside of the shape.
Stitch a small curl eye.
Double stitch the eye and travel down the tapered nose. Add short lines for whiskers.
Stitch under the mouse and add a tail.
The wee little mouse looks just as cute without the eye…
One of the three blind mice?
Stitch a row of mice to create an adorable border pattern…
My grandmother always said…
If you have one mouse, you have five!
EEK!!!
Who is YOUR favorite mouse?
Speedy Gonzalez, Templeton (I think he was a rat), Stuart Little, Mickey, Minnie, Ralph…
What should we name our quilted mouse?
Your Quilted Mousketeer,
Lori
