How To Doodle Circles and Lines

March 5, 2020
Good Morning, Quilters and Doodlers!

Today we are going to learn how to doodle with circles and lines!

Well, “learn” is a strong word for doodling….We are going to practice doodling–  circles and lines are the prompt.

Today, your challenge is to only use circles and lines!

I often find that  limiting the elements, makes doodling easier.

Narrowing the options actually increases my creativity.  You might find this true as well.

Start with Circles

For this exercise, I used a marker and dot grid paper from Ecoqua.

(NOTE-I  like small  size (5 x8) of the Ecoqua A5 and the paper quality. The paper pulls out very easily-making it better for loose leaf-and to create stationery-than for a notebook.)

Fill a page with circles.  Then embellish with more circles and lines.

Decorate the bottom of your stationery with small circles and lines.  Try your hand at flowers.
