Good Morning, Quilters!
The Countdown to Christmas continues…Are YOU ready? Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of time to make a few little “vase quilts”.
Today’s quilts employ the Holly Leaf Free Motion Quilt tutorial from last year.
I recently finished these quilts–and BOUND them–hurray for me!
Now I can use them under all the Pretty Little Things in my Christmas boxes!
Perhaps I should call them PLT quilts…
Any other ideas?
Hope your decorating is making YOU Holly and Jolly!
Lori
NOTE-These quilts were stitched on my BERNINA 770QE (a domestic sewing machine) using a combination of Aurifil cotton 50 wt, Sulky Rayon 40 wt, Superior Magnifico 40 wt, and Iris Metallic thread (snowflakes in the corners of the red quilt).

Hurrah for you is right! They are exquisite! I especially love the red one. I will go and check out the tutorial. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Merry Christmas, Lori!

Thank you Lori for sharing all of your superb ideas!
I do love that binding. It is perky

Your free-motion handwriting is better than my handwriting with a pen!

I made felt stockings with yarn to spell out names. I wanted it to be cursive with a flourish, and it turned out to be just like my handwriting. It was just a bit neater, but it was recognizable as my writing.

Love your quilting that makes the designs. I have Santa cups like yours as well as a Santa pitcher I received as a gift many moons ago. Still love them. Thank You for sharing unique creations every time. As I tell my shitzu, Hope (You are the Best!)

Your PLT’s are so cute….but the bindings really set them off! The red looks so classic…it’s just lovely—but that red-striped binding on the green quilt is too adorable for words! Thank for the eye-candy. Dare I say it? MERRY CHRISTMAS!
