Good Morning, Quilters!

It’s been a busy week! My daughter and her family are visiting from St. Louis and we have kept very busy! We’ve been swimming, blueberry picking, to a splash pad and eating popsicles by the dozens!

In addition, I filmed a  segment with PBS Wisconsin for the Great Wisconsin Quilt Show. (How do you like my computer stand?)

AND Olivia and I gave blood yesterday–the Red Cross tests for Covid antibodies–fingers crossed I have them!?

All this is my way of explaining why I didn’t keep up with my blogging schedule this week.

Would you rather go to a splash pad with your grandkids or sit at your computer on a beautiful Minnesota summer day?  I did what all of you would do! LOL-

I will catch up next week…(if it rains)

Next week, in addition to Lesson Six, The Perfect Stitch, we will look at ways to grip a quilt and I will add a video tutorial of Messy Spirals.

Until then, enjoy this gallery of Posy Medallion Quilts

Had shoulder surgery Thursday and found a tear in rotator cuff. Longer recovery than expected. I can learn to left hand doodle.
Do you know a one hand position for FMQ?

    • Marta

Bless your recovery.. I am trying to learn pedal with left foot! LOL.. Oh and love the orange posy. I exclaimed, “OH, I can’t breathe !” SpouseMan said from other room, “Covid?” I said, “Oh no, Posy Glory!”

I love all your quilting designs.

  • I can’t read the quilt by Edy; the fourth one. Could you re-post it with a typewritten caption, please?

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly our whole life would change.
