FMQ, Valentine Postcard

Mom's Valentine Postcard005

Yesterday, we worked on The Extra-Sweet Heart Border-a design that will brighten up all of your quilts, especially Valentine-inspired quilts.

FMQ, Valentine Postcard

I made this little quilt for my Mother.   The poem is one she is fond of saying to all her babies (7), grand-babies(16)  and great grand babies (10 + 2 on the way) !The Extra-Sweet Heart Border Free Motion Quilting Tutorial

It’s a little large (14″ x 22″) to qualify for the postcard rate at the post office.

I plan to bind it and ship it off today.  I want my Mother to know we all love her A BUSHEL AND A PECK!

Hugs around the neck,

Lori

NOTE:  This Valentine was stitched with Aurifil 50 wt thread in the bobbin and Sulky Rayon on top with a Schmetz 80 Topstitch needle on my Bernina 820…in case you were wondering…
