Good Morning, Quilters!
I just loved all the stories about YOUR moms from our Open Line Friday! It was clear that while only some of us had moms that sewed, most of our moms encouraged our creative endeavors! I hope my children will say I always promoted their creativity–more on that coming soon!
Another common theme was how many of us took lessons at Stretch and Sew! Ann Person, the founder of Stretch and Sew and Nancy Zieman of Sewing with Nancy certainly had a huge impact on a generation quilters and seamstresses!
MACHINE QUILTING MOTIFS
A quick review of some of my favorite machine quilting motifs for spring!
Hopefully, we won’t need to use this too often!
Hope YOUR spring is filled with fine weather and fancy flowers,

I could use than umbrella right about now, for real! It is absolutely pouring!

Lori your talent is refreshing. I have two of your books that are giving me confidence to get this free motion thing going. I am an old sewer but new to quilting. I free motion doodle a little everyday with your books. Do you give workshops? Would love to learn live!

I really love your writing on “good morning, quilters”! I always have written in cursive on my quilts but I just might have to try printing. You are such an inspiration, Lori!

That bike is the cutest ever, I just can’t seem to manage to do it unless it’s 18” x 25”!
Happy Spring!

Just love your blog, Lori, and I’m enjoying and planning quilts with inspiration from both of your books and Craftsy videos.
Here in eastern Pennsylvania we’re going to need that open umbrella all week long. The upside may be lots of blooms on the hydrangeas this year. Woohoo!
