Machine Quilting, Book Cover, Lori Kennedy

Good Morning, Quilters!

Join me in celebrating!!!

It’s official!

My second book has a cover!  Isn’t it sweet!!!  (Not really a question!)

After months of writing and stitching tutorials, the staff at Martingale have edited, tweaked and formatted to create More Free Motion Machine Quilting 1-2-3!

The book is complete and off to the printer and should be available Spring 2018!

More has a chapter for each season with more than 60 motifs (some never seen at The Inbox Jaunt!)

Plus more doodling, more skill building techniques…

and, well… so much more!

THANK YOU for making Free Motion Machine Quilting 1-2-3 a Best Seller in less than six months!!

Guess what?

Book Three is already in the works–and it won’t be just motif tutorials!

What about YOU?

Could YOU use holiday, seasonal and just-for-fun motifs for YOUR quilts!

Do YOU ever work in series?

We’d LOVE to hear!

Happy Stitching,

Lori

I am excited! I will be one of the first to purchase this book. Since I am a beginner at quilting.
Thank you for all of your hard work and the staff’s also.

  • Yes! Another book! I am 74 and retired but keeping my brain active learning FMQ. You have taught me simple ways to “draw” by stitching! You have taught me boldness in creating with fabric and thread. I am going to ask for this book for Christmas even though it isn’t published yet! Your next book could be on all the Samplers you have created. Thank You for sharing your skills. Your Craftsy classes are ones I “preview” many times just to see you working your magic.

Congratulations, Lori! I can’t wait to have your latest book in my quilting hands! Your tutorials have given me so much confidence in my FMQ. I just finished a baby quilt with several of your designs incorporated in the quilting. I was very pleased with how it turned out!

  • Judy Chastain

Congratulations, Lori! Your tutorials have made it possible for me and many others to quilt our own quilts.

  • Marjorie

Thanks for keeping us “I will quilt my own” quilters stashed with fun quilting designs. They are visually delightful, and execute so well. I also love your seamstresses in art.
They make me feel proud and content to belong to the group of women through the ages who have used our tiny tools to great effect.
You have helped me immensely and have a whole page in my Quilter’s Gratitude Journal.

  • Ruthie

Congratulations! Your work is inspirational! Keep it up.

  • Kaylene

I agree with Beth, I am 71 and think your book is wonderful. It is so much fun to be able to use your techniques in our quilt making. Wished we would have had your knowledge long ago. You are very talented and thanks for sharing it with us.

  • I am thrilled! I never thought I’d be able to actually draw pictures on a quilt with my machine! Just think how good I’d be now, if you had started this thirty years ago! I’ll turn 82 in the Spring so I’m sure your book will be my number one request for my birthday. I have a lot of great grand baby quilts to catch up on and your designs make me look good!! Lol. Keep up the good work Lori…Beth

  • Line Paquet

Great, I can not wait for spring 2018 !!! Even when you do not do quilting, your book is, as they say in English a “candy eye”. Line, a french canadian.

    • Maureen B. en C.B.

Bien sûr. Je suis totalment d’accord, Line.
