Doodling-an Ally to Intellectual Thought

True Doodle Quilt

I have been busy finishing up a couple of group projects that I am not free to share for a few weeks, but I stole a few minutes away to add a few more doodles to my little wall hanging.  As you can see, I am not an expert at sketching, ah but that is the nature of doodling, and that is what makes it spontaneous…

Things that are on my mind…flowers in my garden…I love purses…I need to clean my house…

School supplies, Door County…grapes…

I added this flag in honor of September 11th…

Now if you’re still not convinced that doodling is more than a waste of time…Grab a cup of coffee and listen to this short TED talk on doodling….

  • Too bad the corporate world doesn’t understand the value of doodling. I have to make myself NOT doodle in meetings but I really retain more when I do.

    • Check out Sunni Brown’s website. She does corporate training! I’m not sure the corporate world is ready for this concept though…

  • Your stitching looks very proficient to me – very nice!
