Daisy, Daisy, Give me your answer, Do!
I’m half crazy all for the Love of YOU!
Good Morning, Quilters!
As you already know, I get song lyrics, little ditties, stuck in my head all of the time and sometimes they become quilts…(Let’s Go Fly a Kite, Let’s Twist Again, and many more.)Most of the time, I’m not sure what the origin of the song is…
Is Daisy a 40’s era song? Is it from a movie or play? I stitched this little quilt using several threads: Superior’s Magnifico for the white outlines, and Sulky Rayon for the yellow and pink backgrounds.Notice-my substitute for stippling–little leaves and Pebbles!
What about YOU, have you ever turned a song into a quilt?
Of course, some songs…well, they just don’t translate to fabric….
Your Singing Seamstress,
Lori
…”It won’t be a stylish marriage, I can’t afford a carriage, but YOU’ll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two!”
PS…Stitched on my shiny new BERNINA 770 QE–with lots of bells and whistles (but not the embroidery package for me–not Yet at least….)
