Behind the Scenes-Our New Website!

Good Morning, Quilters!

First, a big thank you to all who reported about whether or not they were able to view photos. I’ve been working with Bluehost, the hosting company to fix this. It makes me even happier that we are moving…

As I reported yesterday, I have been working on two huge projects. The first is a book for Martingale-machine quilting lessons and projects that I am extremely excited about.

In addition, Faye, Nora and I have been working on another exciting (and long overdue) project, a new website: Lori Kennedy Quilts!

The goal of the new website is to create a more user-friendly environment with lots of pretty photos!

Access to the motifs will be much easier now and there will be categories of motifs like animals, transportation, etc.

Here’s where I start whining again….It has been extremely time consuming to re-tag and categorize more than five years of blog posts! It’s like moving all the contents of your house to a new house, where every item needs a new label and a new room in the house to stay!

We aren’t quite ready yet, but we are hoping to launch the new site some time in March. YOU won’t have to do anything. If all goes according to plan, you will continue to receive emails of the new blog posts.

I’m sure not everything will be perfect right away, but I think the benefits will be noticeable immediately.

And with my trusty daughters, Nora and Faye, I’m sure YOU will LOVE the new website!
