Happy Friday, Quilters!
I’m off on a road trip to Chicago this weekend–a round up of family….
Just thought I’d show a sneak preview of a quilt I recently finished–more details next week.
In the mean time, I’m counting on YOU to help answer Open Line Friday questions!
EVERYONE ASKS, EVERYONE ANSWERS!
I will kick it off by answering a few questions…
The Quilt-a-Long–To rip or not to rip….
Several people have written about stitching in the wrong row—to rip or not to rip...
That is the question–almost as eternal as Shakespeare….
NOT TO RIP—almost always MY answer!!
If you stitched in the wrong row it will be just fine!!! Do not rip it out–unless it is in Row 8–the big row.
Which Craftsy Class First?
Several people have inquired about which of my Craftsy classes to watch first…
Both classes contain a lot of information and motifs and I made every effort to not repeat the information.
Both classes demonstrate doodling and quilting each motif (nearly 50 motifs in each class!)
And both classes end each lesson with a Trunk Show.
In Divide and Conquer, I discuss thread and set up more and I discuss six ways to divide a block or quilt for easier quilting.
In Doodle to Design, we look at a big quilt and there is an emphasis on doodling and lots of motifs!
If that doesn’t give you enough….
I think Christina Cameli’s classes and style are similar:
Her new class: Wild Quilting is about combining motifs effectively– and her other class, Free Motion Quilting Essentials has many great motifs!

CARS?
We’ve already stitched Race Cars and Henry’s Trucks…is there any interest in a Car tutorial like the one seen atop?
What are YOUR questions? Any Craftsy class recommendations?
Anything else?
We’d LOVE to hear!
Hope your weekend is filled with family and fun!
