Good Morning, Quilters!
Today I have a little challenge for you. Try arranging your doodles in a composition.
Choose three motifs. I chose The Snowman, The Pretty Package (both from More Free Motion Machine Quilting 1-2-3, pages 45 and 111) and a simple tree. (There are four Easy Trees in my first book, but not this pine tree.)
See if you can create a few compositions using only those three motifs.
Fill in with a little background quilting doodling too!
Then choose one of the doodles to stitch.
Or, scan your doodles and you have your Christmas card!
Doodles can be mindless, or composed…
Depends on the day–or the meeting! (LOL)
Happy mindful doodling!
Lori
PS. This doodle was created on watercolor paper with a Pentel Arts Pocket Pen. I’ve tried several brush pens and this is my favorite! Be sure to get a package of refills!

And I needed a quilting related blog post for tomorrow….challenge accepted….time to doodle (such a hardship….not! One of my favorite parts)

This is soooo cute. I love it.
Back in the days of olden, I did a lot of ink drawings. I even sneaked in a few art history classes while earning my nursing degree.
I love very much how you made this a perfect square with sweet motifs
I read your blog every day, I mostly do not have time to comment❤️
